MAC Hack - Instantly save text on the webpages or weblink to a sticky note


This shortcut key is incredible!
Often we stumble upon something important while browsing through the internet & invariably open TextEdit (notepad) to save the same.

With this shortcut key, you can avoid creating a notepad to save the text/weblink.
Select the text/web link you wish to save to the sticky note & hit the below shortcut key.

Cmd-Shift-Y - Hold "Command" & "Shift" and hit "Y"


Once you hit the above mentioned shortcut key, the next thing you will immediately find is that a sticky popping out with your desired text/the web link getting saved on the sticky note.

Similarly for saving weblinks, go to the address bar (highlight the web link). Then apply the said shortcut key.
